Pet Peeves “Furry Tails Can Come True” Fundraiser

Peeves, Inc., “The Voice of Long
Island’s Pets” recently received a $15,000 donation
from the Roslyn Savings Foundation to sponsor its upcoming
event
“Furry Tails Can Come True,” to be held on September
20,2005, at the Crest Hollow Country Club, in Woodbury. The
generous support of the Roslyn Savings Foundation enables
Pet Peeves to further its mission of protecting Long Island’s
abused and neglected animals and its work with companion organizations
who share common goals.
“We are delighted that the Roslyn Savings Foundation
has agreed to be our key sponsor. Their generosity has allowed
us to make important differences in the lives of Long Island’s
most vulnerable creatures,” stated Pet Peeves founder,
Janine Dion.
The Furry Tails Can Come True Fundraiser is in its third year.
This unique event blends a festive atmosphere with delicious
food and amazing raffles prizes as many prominent businesspeople,
volunteers, and other concerned individuals come out for a one-of-a-kind
event. Tickets are $90.00 each and must be purchased in advance.

Pet Peeves, Inc. is a non-for-profit organization that makes
a difference through the support of “no kill” shelters

August 27, 2004: Woodbury, NY--Pet Peeves, Inc., the voice of
Long Island pets, recently received a $15, 000.00 donation
from the Roslyn Savings Foundation
to sponsor its upcoming fundraiser entitled ?Creatures, Features
and Teachers?Humane Education and the Big Picture.? All proceeds
from the event, which will be held on October 23, 2004 at
the Boulton Center for the Performing Arts in Bay Shore, will
support humane education programs and the abandoned and neglected
animals on Long Island.
“Roslyn Savings Foundation is proud to
support Pet Peeves mission of educating children about the
importance of pet ownership and respect,” said Sharon
G. Grosser, Executive Director of the Roslyn Savings Foundation.
“Roslyn also recognizes that pets are an integral part
of the family unit.”
Janine Dion, President/Founder of Pet Peeves
commented, “We are pleased that a highly esteemed Foundation
like Roslyn has recognized our commitment to support Humane
Education Programs on Long Island.”
Through the Roslyn Savings Foundation’s
generosity, Pet Peeves will be able to move ahead with its
goal of giving to local Long Island charitable organizations
